Photo Submission Guidelines

DUE DATE: Friday Feb 21, 2025 Images and product info submitted via emailed google forms link.

Each artist must submit 6 - 12 objects.

We are flexible on the quantity of objects and object types. For example an artist could submit any combination of:

●  Large centerpieces

●  Multiples of an object type (i.e. 4 mugs, bowls, snack plate sets)

●  Place settings (i.e. dinner plate, desert plate, bowl, and cup)

●  Miscellaneous tableware including but not limited to vases, butter dishes, gravy boats, cake stands, flower bricks, lidded serving vessel, egg cups, candle holder, etc.

IMAGE REQUIREMENTS:

Our visual goals for this exhibition are that visitors to AboveBoardCeramics.com can clearly view your artwork, understand its overall form, and see its exquisite details.

ALL photos should be formatted to 5 x 5 inches and 300 dpi

EXHIBITION (landing page) 2 Photos from each artist:

These photos will be in the exhibition side of things under theTABLE. We will put these two images side-by-side for each artist. One image should be group photo of most (if not all) of the pieces you are submitted to show. The second image should be an inspiration image, something that influences the work you create. Think of this as an artist’s slideshow consisting of two still images. We are trying to distill it all down to these two pictures for our website audience.

Product Listing/Sales Documentation style (3 Photos per piece min)

These photos will be in theSHOP portion of AboveBoardCeramics.com These photos should be well lit and clear, showing all sides of the piece, and photographed on a white background. These images should give viewers  a sense of the object. Imagine, if you were buying a cup from a “new to you” artist, what angles would you need to see in order to understand the whole object in lieu of being able to physically handle the piece(s)?

Profile photo of your studio or view from your studio:
This is our switch-up on the usual artist profile picture. We are asking for a photo of your studio, or an aerial shot of your work table or the view from your work space. This is more background information in order for our viewers to get a bigger sense of the artist.
