I started grad school (ceramic mfa) at CU Boulder in 2022!

What's your favorite go to potluck recipe? What ceramic piece do you serve it in?  

Banana bread! My grandma always makes Fannie Farmer's banana cake --- the secret ingredient is sour cream. I can never find that recipe when I have bananas going brown, so I just add a big scoop of viscous dairy to any old banana bread recipe. So tasty. 3 very very ripe bananas (chopped, not mashed) 1/3c melted butter 1/2 tsp baking soda big pinch salt 1/2c sugar 1 egg 1 1/2c flour scant 1 cup sour cream / yogurt / soured milk / etc. bake at 350F in a parchment-lined pan until a knife comes out clean I made myself a rectangular ceramic loaf pan with no taper, which makes for a perfect loaf.
