In an alternate life, what would you be doing?

My girlfriend thinks I should be an urban planner with how many opinions I have about the way cities are laid out. That’s fair. I think I would enjoy the problem-solving!

I love a good custardy baked French toast. Deb Perelman has a great recipe on her Smitten Kitchen website. I bake it in a 14” round stoneware casserole dish that I made around 10 years ago.
